Decided to meet up with the guys on Tuesday (25 June 2013) for dinner over at JEM again since it was so near to their workplace and there were still a lot of restaurant to try out over here. We had decided earlier to dine over at this restaurant called LEE’s Taiwanese as the guys had eaten there before during one of their dinner trip after OT in office.
They wish to introduce this restaurant to us since they served value added set meals. The queue was not long even though the restaurant was packed with people dining there so we do not really need to wait for too long before we can get a table suitable for our group of 5 people.
As JEM shopping mall had just opened for business, both Rachel and I decided to go look around and have our dinner over at this place on Monday (24 June 2013). Met her after work at Jurong East MRT where we can walk toward JEM through a connected bridge just next to the MRT.
When we were there, we were quite surprise to see that JEM was just like a mini Orchard shopping paradise as you get to see a lot of different branded stalls which only can be found around town area right here in Jurong East just next to the MRT.
We did some walking around to look at different stalls and to find a nice place for dinner when we saw Swensen which served salad buffet just like the one at Vivo. My mind was like great, I do not need to go so far just to have my salad buffet fix. We decided to walk into the restaurant partly was also due to the friendly manager who keeps trying to guide us into the restaurant and we hope to try out whether the variety here was as good as Vivo branch.
Nice comfortable feel while dining here
The restaurant was using warm lighting to allow customer to have a comfortable dining within the restaurant while the tables were spaced nicely apart without being too close to your neighbor.
Lucky Draw event during the opening
There was also lucky draw spin where you get to spin and win something after spending a sum of money dining in the restaurant.
Thursday (6 June 2013) was just another one of our dining date together between Rachel and me, we decided to go Jcube for our dinner as it was easy to go back to our own home later on. We decided to eat over at Punggol Nasi Padang over at Jcube as we had been passing by this restaurant though never really eaten there before.
There were not many people dining over at this restaurant during our time of visit and mostly were Malays or Indians while some Chinese were there dining too. The tables were placed nicely and was not really too close to each others. To me, this place was like a normal coffee shop except there was only 1 stall inside as all things over at this place is self service for example, we need to look for tables ourselves and also to queue up to purchase our dishes.
There were 2 cash counters over at this place which I will explain more details
It was a Thursday (3 January 2013) and both Rachel and I decided to meet up for dinner as I have a Coffee Club vouchers after redeeming it from my credit card points. We meet up with each other after our work at IMM as we know there is one restaurant located there and it is near to her workplace.
There are a lot of people around in IMM by the time we reached there and almost all the restaurants are queuing with customers but when we reached the Coffee Club restaurant, there are not much people inside the restaurant but since we are there, we just proceed into the restaurant and start to look through the menu before ordering our dishes.
There are still quite a lot of empty seats when we are there.
I am quite surprise and honored to receive an email from Popeyes Singapore (Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen), informing me that I am one of the designated bloggers for them and was invited to their private event to celebrate the opening of their 12th outlet over at IMM (Near to Jurong East MRT with free shuttle bus services from Jcube) on Monday (10 December 2012).
I am quite lucky as it is also my half day work so I get to go back home to rest for a while before going to IMM and prepare to enjoy the food tasting cum meeting with new friends session.
Both Rachel and I met up on Wednesday (29 August 2012) evening as we wanted to try out a restaurant in JCube called “Nando’s” as I have a free voucher won from one of the Facebook contest for a free 1 quarter chicken with 2 side dishes.
The restaurant is located just next to the ice-skating rink so if you are afraid of cold, do bring some sweater along if you wish to eat your meals and chit chatting over in the restaurant.
I have added in new category on Menu and one of them will be popular Bubble Tea menus. It is good for those who wish to ask your friends who is there to order bubble tea but do not have menu to look at which bubble tea to order.
Here it is for ShareTea (歇脚亭) where I get the menu from JCube Branch.
This branch provide free delivery of bubble tea services (With terms and conditions) which is a good way of getting more business.
